Über Mich

Hey everyone, I'm Ryan. I’m a freelance journalist living in Burlington, Vermont. My job affords me the freedom to be an English tutor several hours per week, which I’ve been doing in various capacities for many years.

I love to teach Writing if you need a writing coach or editor!

I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Writing from the University of Texas in 2014 and I now have my Master of Arts in English from Texas State University where I worked as an Instructional Assistant and Writing Tutor. My goal when tutoring is to provide the resources and the encouragement for the development of your skills through focused conversation and/or exercises. I have helped many students from around the world achieve a higher level of understanding of English and I have also spent many years learning languages from native speakers. I believe that conversation with native speakers is the most effective way to practice your skills! When learning a language, the goal is not to speak perfectly, but to do your best and to keep learning.
