Hello! I am Dani Cook from California. I am a graduate from UC Berkeley with a bachelors in English. I am a native English speaker and am currently traveling with my husband, devoting all my time to freelance work and English tutoring.
My teaching career began in South Korea back in 2013 tutoring university students. Since then, I have continued to teach in South Korea at a private English academy and most recently, at a Korean Elementary school. I have also worked part time online for the last 2 years teaching students from all over the world and all ages in my spare time.
I like to tailor my lessons to each student. Some wish to learn English which best suits a job interview while others wish to work on their speaking and writing. I can help with it all and am happy to do so!
For the past two years I have been working as an online English tutor. This has required me to create various lesson plans and teach a wide range of students, predominantly from Japan but also Korea and Taiwan. I have had the opportunity to teach students all ages ranging from 10 years old to 65, giving me plenty of experience adapting to my students’ needs.

Reading Town - Cheonan, Chungnam, South Korea
I worked at this English academy for 8 months. This job required me to create lesson plans, write tests, be dependable, patient and even silly at times with children ages 5-13.

Soon Chun Hyang University - Sinchang, Asan, South Korea
As part of a study abroad program I participated in, I received a paid position to meet with 10 Korean university students 1 on 1 every week to teach them English. I worked to enhance their English skills by helping them practice their conversational English listening and speaking.
