My name is Ilaria and I am an Italian Language teacher.
I have a Master's degree in Specialised Translation and, after the graduation Degree at the University of Naples "L'Orientale", I attended a Postgraduate Course in Teaching Italian L2.
In addition, I give lessons for all levels, also aimed at preparing exams for certification CILS, CELI and PILDA.
I recently had the opportunity to teach Italian to Erasmus students at the University, and, moreover, I have also worked for more than a year as a cultural mediator in a Temporary Refugee Camp for immigrants to which I also teach Italian.
Right now I am working in a private school based in Florence as an Italian Teacher to Chinese students that have to get the B2 certificate of Italian language of the University of Siena.
For all these reasons, i'm used to teach Italian to people that have different language backgrounds and motivations.
I usually use a communicative approach based on improving Italian language and grammar starting from the use of the language and from speaking and listening skills.
In order to make my lessons funnier and more interesting and to motivate students, I always create my personal teaching material starting from students' interests and aims.
