I'm not going to lecture you about things which you do not need to know to speak English. Instead, I'm going to help you to tell me about your work, projects, interests, plans, and hopes, so when the time comes you can speak with people you care about and use the language to change your life. I will also help ensure that you can listen and understand the language through concept checking questions about specific information or ideas that have been presented. If you are making grammar errors the corrections will be explained without complex grammar terminology. How is this possible? I explain grammar using plain language and examples for most of my students. Why should I call "can" a "modal verb" when I can call it a "a word to express that the subject has the ability to perform an action or has permission to perform it." If you are studying to be a language teacher or major in linguistics it is very useful to know that "can" is classified as a modal verb, if you are not, it is unnecessary. Here is an example of how grammar is taught by me: You tell me, "Gary, I go to store if I want. The social distancing rules allow it and my car still works well enough to take me there." I say to you, "It should be, I can go to the store if I want." and then I add, "The reason for adding "can" to the action "go" in this sentence is to express the ability to do something as well as to have permission to do it. To be able to go to the store means you can complete the action if you choose to do so because your car works and it will take you there and the action is permitted because it can be completed without breaking the social distancing rules." Welcome to English the easy way. The way it is taught when the teacher knows how to take something complicated and make it simple for you to understand; it is essentially the primary reason you are paying the teacher instead of just reading a grammar book by yourself. None of this is revolutionary, yet much of this is not commonly found online or in the classroom. I know because I've looked. You can find my reviews from clients near the bottom of this page. I offer discounts for students enrolled in secondary school or university, orphans, senior citizens, government servants, refugees, military members and veterans. If you are living in an economically depressed country you may also write me to apply for a discount. Please message me before booking so I can apply the discount.

During the past 3 years as an ESL Trainer, I have given tens of thousands of hours of lessons, writing instruction, and workshops, working with hundreds students from all nationalities, ethnicities, countries, and professions through a variety of platforms and in physical classrooms. I have earned my 120-hour TESOL Certificate, from ITTT, where the coursework is 100% interchangeable with their 120-hour TEFL. I have also completed a Certification for Teaching Business English from ITTT. I specialize in developing major business skills, such as running meetings, presentations, negotiations, and interview preparation. This includes job and scholastic admission interviews, or if you are the person interviewing a candidate. I have developed a five part course, with the option of adding lessons as needed, and multiple lessons in a day. I also thoroughly correct papers and assignments for grammar and vocabulary improvement. I enjoy working with business professionals, university students, and students motivated by the idea of self-improvement.

Hi, my name is Randi. I have a Master's in Education and a Bachelor's in Music. Learning to speak a second language is very similar to learning to play an instrument. Practice is the key to success. Effective instruction should be relevant and meaningful to a student. I do my best to make each lesson relate to my students' interests, goals, and abilities. I have many years of experience teaching English as a Second Language and I really enjoy working with students from so many different cultures and walks of life.

Hello there. My name is Freddie and welcome to my teaching profile... [I'm back on Verbling and taking on new students after completing a university research project into motivation - ask me for further information] I am a highly qualified and very experienced teacher, lecturer, Director of Studies, examiner, entrepreneur and award-winning volunteer, mentor, and, university ambassador. I run my own teaching website and work as a freelance teacher, teaching for multiple institutions in the UK and overseas - while simultaneously pursuing entrepreneurial and voluntary activities. I also run the teaching website: Focus on Learning. Qualifications: I hold a BA (Hons) degree in Philosophy, the Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK. I am currently completing my the final part of Masters in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MA TESOL), with British Council TEFL-Q Status, and I am on course to graduate with distinction. I am an experienced and qualified examiner holding the Cambridge Certificate in the Concepts and Contexts of Assessment (CCCA) and examined for Cambridge Assessment for over five years. I also have an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure (DBS) certificate. Experience: I have over 10 years teaching experience, teaching children and adults, across 12 different countries; in primary schools, secondary schools, and, universities. My teaching has consistently been assessed at ‘Very Good’, ‘Outstanding’ or ‘Distinction’ level. I have taught in countries including: Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. As Director of Studies, I have managed large teams of teachers internationally. I mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students at two different UK universities. I won the 2017/18 Mentor of the Year Award at the University of Kent. Services and specialisms: General English, conversational English, exam preparation (including IELTS, Cambridge exams, GCSE and A-level), English for Academic Purposes (EAP), Teacher Training, business English, university entry, CV support, applications and interview preparation. Additionally, if you are interested in business or career development this is another speciality of mine. Let me know what you want and I will help you achieve it. Teaching philosophy: Every student is individual and unique; no two classes are the same - a key part of what I love about teaching - so I tailor my lessons to my students’ specific needs. I think language should first and foremostly be about communication, while also covering all skill sets. I love learning for its own sake though I have a lot of exam experience. My interests: Personally, I love drinking tea (black, with milk of course) combined with any of the following: business, economics, entrepreneurship, trading, philosophy, politics, travel, writing and good food. For fun I play board games, read, go to pub quizzes and socialise. I love travel and culture (taking plenty of photos) and have travelled extensively around mainland Europe. Interested? Send me a message and let me know what you would like and I will tailor my lessons to your specific needs. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals.
