Interview-Vorbereitung - Tutoren & Lehrer für Englisch
Hello and thank you for visiting my profile, I have been teaching English for over 5 years. I have experience with teaching adults, children, new immigrants to Canada, as well as native English speakers. I enjoy teaching grammar, conversational English, academic writing, and preparing students for standardized language tests, such as IELTS and TOEFL. I am lucky enough to have taught students from all over the world, including Russia, Germany, Spain, China, India, Vietnam, and Saudi Arabia. I know that learning a language can be quite difficult. I adapt my lessons and teaching style to my students to help make things as easy and fun as possible. My lessons are unique to each student and his or her situation. If you have any questions about taking a class or my teaching style, feel free to contact me through Verbling. You are welcome to book a trial session to see if we are a good match as teacher and student. All the best in your language learning journey, Muneer Huda
Hello, I'm Steven and I'm from Manchester, UK. I have a Master's degree from Cambridge University and CELTA English teaching qualification. I have thousands of hours of English teaching experience since 2012. I first taught in Japan and then Spain and now teach online. I like to focus on natural, real English and the advanced grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation that you will need to speak at a high level. My teaching style is to create unique lessons, exercises and homework for you to target your weaknesses so you improve as quickly and efficiently as possible. Having fun is extremely important so I aim to have natural conversations about topics that you and I both find interesting. After the lesson I will give you personalised notes to work on your weaknesses. I'll give you homework on these topics so you improve and don't keep making the same mistakes. I love learning about different cultures which is why I find English teaching so interesting. Please share your culture with me and convince me to visit your home country :) I've been very lucky to be able to travel to lots of countries in Asia and Europe, also America and Uganda. Before teaching English I studied engineering so I can help you with technical or university level English. Feel free to have a trial lesson to see if I can help you bring your English to the next level. Thanks for reading this far. Steven

Hi! I'm from Brighton, in the South of England, and I have 10 years of teaching experience. I did my Cambridge CELTA teaching certificate when I was only 18, and I have taught all ages and levels, and in many different learning environments ever since! I have travelled in Europe, Asia, South America, North America and Australia and I have taught English in academies, private classes, online, volunteering centers and with businesses. Whatever your reasons for learning English, I can help to facilitate a fun, progressive and interesting learning experience for you!
Hi everyone! My name is Shane; I’m both a British and South African national and consider the world my home.My teaching is focused at B1-C2 level and I am currently teaching both business professionals and class students. I have completed my TEFL/TESOL & Grammar specialist with distinction. I am also in my final year of my BSc in Information Technology systems, and have numerous other qualifications completed over the years. I have been training and teaching students, staff I have managed, and clients I have done business with for over ten years in sales, business, retail, management, hospitality & technology. I have lived in England, USA, South Africa & Turkey. I have worked Internationally, which has taken me throughout the United States, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Recently I have decided to focus on giving my experience and knowledge to students who want to take their English and their future success to a higher level. I am teaching not just the basics of English, but also the real everyday practical use of English in work, sales, technology and aviation fields. I understand the challenges of learning a new language as I am now learning Turkish myself. Learning a new language for personal use is great, learning a new language for professional use is the next step I want to help you with. So if you need to polish your business communication, develop your fluency for a new career, build your confidence to take those next steps and walk away with a higher level of fluency in “International English”, then I am looking forward to working with you! Please feel free to contact me at anytime as I would welcome being able to help not just with the teaching of English, but also how and what language to use, and when to use it in the day to day professional fields. All the best!
Hello! I am the right teacher for intermediate and advanced adult and young-adult students who appreciate a prepared and organized but still fun and relaxed approach to their language-learning process. Do you need someone knowledgeable about language and the learning process? I am that teacher. I have a Master's degree in English, certifications to teach from several states in the U.S., and decades of experience teaching. I scored in the 98th percentile on the GRE in verbal reasoning and have learned foreign languages myself, so I know how you feel and the challenges you face. As a linguist, I can help you perfect your conversation. I am a grammar and style wizard, so if you need someone to help you with compositions, presentations, or dissertations, I am the person for you. If you are a person who enjoys creative writing, you will be happy to know that I have had short stories and poetry published in online magazines and my young-adult novel "Backbiters" was released this summer (you can see it on Amazon!). In other words, I can help you polish your creative pieces. I have taught ages 5 to 70+. I have taught face-to-face and online. Besides my native language of English, I speak Spanish and some French and Japanese and a bit of Italian (and have done a bit of Mandarin study though I have not reached proficiency yet; Portuguese is next!). Regardless of your native language, I am willing to learn about it, so I can best help you learn English. Learning a language takes time and effort, but I can make it as fun and efficient as possible for you, using dedication, compassion, and effective pedagogy. When I am not teaching, I have many interests. I read. I write. I love theater, art, and blues music. I swim, kayak, bike, run, and do yoga. I have to be active because I love to go to ethnic restaurants and cook ethnic food –- of course traveling to other countries to experience new cultures is the best! I also have an addiction to documentaries of all sorts because life is so interesting and a guilty pleasure of watching talent T.V. auditions. :) Whatever your interests, needs, and goals, I can help you reach them by assisting you to learn accurate, useful, and beautiful English. Let’s start now!
Hi everyone! My name is Amy Lewin and I’m a CELTA qualified English teacher from the UK with 12 years of teaching experience. I am back teaching here on Verbling after taking a break to complete my postgraduate masters degree and teaching theatre and drama. Looking now to work mainly online so I am happy to say I am now accepting new students once again. As well as being an English as a foreign language teacher I am also a theatre teacher and drama workshop facilitator (so you can be assured your lessons will never be boring!). I’m a person who loves a challenge and to try new things. Around 15 years ago I decided I wanted to travel the world and I haven’t stopped since. I’ve travelled extensively and have lived in Europe, Africa, Asia and South America. My life is about experiences and learning about different cultures and people. I consider myself an artist, an actor, a dancer and an educator. I’ve been teaching English for around 12 years, in the UK, Asia, and South America. Most recently I taught in South Korea and prior to that I taught English in Argentina, where I was living for 6 years, so I also speak Spanish! I have taught a whole range of nationalities, predominantly Spanish speakers, and I have taught all ages and all levels of English too. I have experience teaching very different kinds of classes such as, general English, exam preparation classes, pronunciation classes, conversation classes and grammar classes. All my classes are tailored specifically to your needs, focussing on the area that you feel you want to work on and topics that you will find interesting! The most important thing about my classes is that they are fun and interactive. It is much easier to learn a language if you enjoy taking classes! I try to incorporate games, discussions and debates, videos, music and a whole range of other interesting authentic material into my classes. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message. I hope to see you in class!!
